Do you have your holiday dresses picked out yet? If not I’ve got a suggestion – sequins!
I’ve been wanting a sequined dress for forever.  Especially for the holidays or New Year’s parties. But it’s kind of hard to find the perfect one.  I wanted a good fit, long sleeves and in a shade of gold.  So when I went to the Single showroom to get fitted for a dress I was so excited when Galina (the designer) pulled out this Scoop Back 80’s dress for me! It’s like she read my mind! Seriously, Galina pulled out two dress options for me that were just perfect.  I couldn’t have chosen better myself. I’ll be showing you the other dress she picked out for me on Friday!
So if you are looking for a sequined dress I highly recommend this one.  I just love all the elements – the larger bronze sequins, the long sleeves and the scoop neck back. Yes, it is definitely pricier than you’d find in Forever 21 but if you are having a hard to finding a good sequined dress you might want to consider the investment!

I was so excited to participate in the Single fashion show on the rooftop of the TENTEN Wilshire building on Friday night!  Many of the other models were LA fashion bloggers as well like Cleo and Emily from GLAMAZE and Rachael from Everything Hauler!
Galina Sobolev, who created Single, is a celebrity fashion designer, TV personality and was a finalist on Bravo’s “Launch My Line”.  If you are looking for dresses that are worn by celebrities you should check out Single! Just look at the “As Seen” section – you’ll find celebrities from Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and more wearing Single creations. Single designs have been featured in Allure, Marie Claire, and InStyle Magazine to name a few. And to top it all off Galina is just the sweetest person and it was such a pleasure to be a part of her show.

I don’t have many pictures from the even because my husband couldn’t come to take photos for me! But here are all of us standing next to paintings that matched our dresses.

P.S. I wanted all black shoes for the event but these Target ones have a white toe strap. So I covered it up with black electrical tape and – voila! – all black strappy heels!

*I was given this dress and earrings for participating in the show but all opinions are my own and I was not compensated for this post.
