It’s no secret I’m a fan of high waisted denim. I think they are a really flattering style because they accentuate the smallest part of your waist. Plus you can wear cropped tops and not expose your belly! But surprisingly, I don’t have any high waist pants that aren’t denim. That’s all changed now that I have these SUPER high waisted pants from & Other Stories.

I knew I had to have these pants the moment I laid eyes on them. So I could tell that they would be so flattering even though I hadn’t tried them on yet. I loved the pleats and the wide leg style. And not only are they high waisted – they are VERY high waisted. They pretty much go all the way up to my rib cage. It’s kind of like wearing a corset! These pants suck everything in and accent the smallest part of my waist. If you are thinking about getting them – size up. I’m wearing my usual size 4 but probably could have gone with a 6 – especially since I like to tuck my shirts in.

They have a menswear/workwear vibe so I decided to pair them with my oversized blazer. My outfit has a more fall/winter vibe but I think these pants will definitely work for spring. They are 100% cotton so they are light and breathable. I’m looking forward to wearing them with cute floral tops for spring!

If you are on the hunt for high waisted pants, I’ve rounded up some of my favorites. I’m really loving the paper bag waists right now too. I just haven’t found the right pair for me yet! (And all the ones that I’ve wanted have been sold out in my size! Nooooo!).

Now onto Flashback Fashion Fridays! Here’s a look from last March. I was definitely preggers! I’m so happy I’m not pregnant this spring…haha. It was just so uncomfortable. I’m glad I can wear my non-maternity clothes again!

  2. I love high waisted pants! I love how it sucks everything in and it is truly a mom’s or any girls best friend! Your beige pair is such a nice change of color from the denim ones I see and it looks beautiful with your blazer and black top. Such a classy every day look! Happy Friday and wishing you a fantastic Easter weekend!
