It was a little rainy and chilly over the weekend so I thought I’d dress for the weather in grey layers. This “tunic” is actually a shirtdress but when I wore it as a dress everyone (meaning my husband and sister) said it looked like I was wearing a shirt with no pants! So I decided to wear it as a tunic instead. I still like the look and it works especially well in cooler weather. I topped the look off with my grey lightweight coat and I was ready to go!
Sometimes when I’m wearing neutral outfits I like to add pops of color – just to keep things interesting. This time I added a bright coral lip and necklace with highlighter yellow accents. It is “spring” after all!

I love these longer layers! I have a shirt dress that my husband says looks like I’m wearing a shirt with no pants when I wear it, but I wear it as a dress anyways. Haha! It comes up on the sides which gives it the shirt look but it’s long in the front and back so it covers everything that needs be covered to wear it as a dress. Anyways, I really love your outfit!

Ha, ha, I love that they said it looked like you weren’t wearing any trousers when you wore it as a dress. I think you’ve cracked the way to wear it absolutely here. Love the simple lines the different shades and tones and of course the centrepiece of the necklace elevates the look. Classic.
