Green, Wrap Midi Dress

I’m continuing my obsession with Reformation by wearing this green, wrap midi dress. I actually picked it up at a sample sale in LA so it was very discounted! (Thank goodness for sample sales!) I got it months ago and just never had the occasion to wear it. So why not take it out for a coffee date downtown? I don’t go to downtown LA often because traffic and parking is no fun so I figured that was a good enough reason to take out this cute dress! I met up with Adri for our weekly blogging chat and outfit picture taking session. It’s been sooo helpful to have blogging friends. My husband doesn’t like to take my photos anymore and sometimes I get tired of taking my tripod and remote out. Plus, there’s no way I’m setting my tripod up in the middle of downtown!

I also want to mention these shoes I recently picked up. I always get compliments on this Zara pair that I wear all. the. time. Unfortunately, they were from a couple seasons ago and they haven’t come out with a similar style yet. So I’ve been hunting for a retro pair of pumps with a wood block heel and I finally found this pair! The nude color is actually perfect and I love that they also come in narrow styles! I bought both a regular and narrow pair to try them out and the narrow style almost fit better but they were a little tight in the toe section. So I stuck with the regular pair and had to add heel inserts because apparently my heel is narrow but my toes aren’t!

P.S. I hope you all had a nice Valentine’s Day! I’m not really into the holiday that much but my hubby did take a hint and got me a nice bouquet of flowers (even though he thinks buying flowers is stupid because they don’t last…haha). I also contributed to a post my friend Heather wrote on her blog about self love. Check it out to see how I practice self love on a daily basis!

Now onto Flashback Fashion Fridays! Here’s a look from two years ago! Last February I still hadn’t gotten over my morning sickness so there aren’t many outfits to choose from. But I still really like this look. Sadly, those pants are worn out but I still have the blouse, shoes and clutch!
