Gifts for the French Girl at Heart

If you or someone you know is a French girl at heart then I have the perfect gifts to share with you! I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite items from my favorite French brands. But you don’t have to be a francophile to appreciate these gifts. These are items that any girl with feminine sensibilities would enjoy!

Bath and Body from Bastide:

Bastide is a beauty brand originating from Aix-en-Provence, France. Their philosophy is simple and luxurious beauty. They don’t test on animals and they’ve blacklisted a lot of questionable and harmful ingredients. So you can be sure their products are good for you and your skin! I also LOVE their packaging and scents. I’m obsessed with lavender and rose scents and they have both in their collection!

They were kind enough to send me their hand wash and hand lotion, bath oil, and gift set to try out. All of these would make wonderful gifts. I love the little gift set pictured above. It contains a travel size spray fragrance, body wash, and 10ml fragrance, all wrapped up in a painter’s roll! (I just swapped out the mini fragrance bottle for the travel size hand lotion).

Red Lipstick:

A red lipstick is a beauty staple for the French girl. And if you want to get a luxurious gift without spending a fortune then Chanel’s Rouge Coco Hydrating Lipcolor is a good option. I can’t afford a Chanel bag but I could splurge a little on some lipstick! P.S. My favorite French Brand – Rouje – has a line of lipstick and beauty products now! I love the classic red “Jeanne”.

Hotel Magique Prints:

These art prints are French inspired and would give any room that “je ne sais quoi” French vibe! I love the “Bonjour Madame” print!

French Baskets:

I love French baskets because they are multi-purpose. You can use them as a summer bag, to carry groceries, display flowers, and more!

“In Paris” Book:

This book was written by the ultimate French girl – Jeanne Damas. If you want insight into French life and style then this book is for you! I’ve never been to Paris so I’m living vicariously through all the stories in this book. 

Sézane Accessories:

Sézane is one of my favorite French fashion brands. Their collections are feminine, classic, and fun. Their designs are a little on the pricy side but they have some jewelry, scarves, home items, and accessories under $100 – like these wallets! If you want to splurge a little, I recommend the Gaspard Jumper – it’s a French classic!

Macaroons:

These light and airy cookies are so delicious and the perfect treat for any French girl at heart. They are best when fresh and eaten within a day or two so check to see if your local bakery makes macaroons that you can pick up right before you need to give a gift! Otherwise, you can get Ladurée macaroons delivered directly from France!

Diptyque Candle:

Diptyque is an icon French luxury brand specializing in fragrances and candles. I mentioned that I love rose scents and Diptyque has an amazing rose scented candle.
