Biore Hero Final

It’s spring and that means it’s time for a fresh start! So I’m simplifying my skincare routine with Bioré’s Charcoal line! I know I’m always looking for ways to de-stress and simplify my life and my skin care routine is definitely something I don’t want to be stressed about! So with two simple steps I’m cleansing my skin and deep cleaning my pores!

Natural charcoal is known for drawing out impurities so it makes sense to use that in your skincare products – especially if you have problems with oily skin and clogged pores like I do. So I was really excited when Bioré came out with a line of products using charcoal. I picked up the Bioré Pore Penetrating Charcoal Bar and Bioré Self Heating One Minute Mask.
Biore Bar Final2

I loved the feel of the Bioré Pore Penetrating Charcoal Bar! It has tiny jojoba beads to gently exfoliate and peppermint oil to leave the skin feeling clean and tingly! And of course the natural charcoal helps to remove sebum and dirt for a 2.5X better clean than a basic cleanser. It was really easy to use too – just wet with warm water, work into a lather and massage onto your face!
Biore Mask Final

Next up is the Bioré Self Heating One Minute Mask. I love masks but sometimes they seem like a lot of work. I don’t want to wait 20 minutes with a bunch of goop on my face before I can wash it off! That’s why I love this mask. Just massage it on your face for a minute and rinse off. And this mask heats up on contact with your skin which is super relaxing and helps to open up your pores for a really deep clean. Again, this product contains natural charcoal for a 2.5X better clean than a regular cleanser!
No MakeupMakeup Final

Now for the NO MAKEUP final result! My skin felt super clean and tight after using both of these Bioré products. And the whole process only took a couple of minutes! Now I have a fresh palette for my 5 minute makeup look!

Just like my skincare routine I need my makeup routine to only take a few minutes. So I’m sharing my 5 minute makeup routine that I use everyday below!
Biore Makeup

1) Start with your favorite concealer to your under eyes and any trouble spots. 2) Apply some powder foundation with a brush for light coverage. 3) Add some color to your cheeks with a light blush and kabuki brush. 4) Use a neutral shadow with a little shimmer on your lids and follow up with brown eyeliner and mascara. 5) Finish up with a dusty pink lipstick and you’re done! It actually took me less than 5 minutes! This is the look you’ll see me in pretty much everyday and for the majority of my outfit posts.

Now that I’ve simplified my skincare and makeup routine it’s time to simplify the rest of my life! That can definitely seem like an overwhelming task. I obviously don’t have everything figured out (who does?!) but I’ve found some things that help take away some stress.

Biore Relax

One of the things that can cause stress in my life is clutter! I have trouble focusing when my place is messy and I’m not as productive when things aren’t organized. I recently read The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up and it had me rethinking how I organize my life. I highly recommend reading this book if you want less stress in your life! Basically, it’s about only keeping things that bring you joy and getting rid of the rest. Less stuff = less stress!

Another thing that helps me feel less stressed is lighting a candle at night. It helps me wind down from a long day and lavender is my favorite scent for relieving stress. By far my favorite lavender scented candle comes from P.F. Candle Co!

With my new Bioré skincare products, 5 minute makeup routine, and de-cluttered and de-stressed life, I’ve got a fresh start for spring!

If you are looking to simplify your skincare routine while still getting a deep clean why not give charcoal a try? The Bioré products are available at Walmart and I easily found mine in the makeup and skincare isle.

Have you tried Bioré charcoal products? What do you think?
