This spring I’ve been really drawn to French fashion. There’s just something je ne sais quoi about it, non? I’m always torn between wearing girly, feminine clothes and simple, minimalist styles and I think French fashion is a nice mix of the two. Take this outfit, for example. It’s basically just a white tee and midi skirt but the button detail and floral print give it that feminine feel. I added the woven bag and heels for more texture and slightly vintage feel.

But I also love how French fashion can be just be a great pair of jeans and striped blazer. Or a pair of skinny jeans, white button down, and a red lip. It’s really simple, effortless, and chic.

Right now, my go-to spots for French fashion are Sézane and Rouje. Shop my favorite Sézane pieces:

You can also find French styles at & Other Stories. Their stores are a collection of designs from Paris, Los Angeles, and Stockholm. Whenever I’m shopping their I’m usually drawn to the French section because the styles are so pretty! & Other Stories is also at a more affordable price point and have stores in the US. Shop my favorites here:

Right now Sézane and Rouje are only available online. Other French brands on my radar are Balzac ParisSandro, The Kooples, and A.P.C. However, they are a little more pricy so we’ll see if I’m able to add something to my closet. Shope my favorites:

Do you shop any French brands?

  2. Mais oui, ma petit cherie. The vibe is often one of “just tossed a few things together”, zero effort. Laidback but sharp and chic. I love that. Almost as much as I adore the exaggerated opulence of the Italian vibe 😛

  3. You look fabulous as always. Love the soft, summery skirt and wow your sandals – I remember having a pair like that years ago and loved them. Will try for another pair I think. Hope you’ll join my #chicandstylish #linkup every Thursday on Mummabstylish x Jacqui
