Flashback Fashion Fridays Link Up!

Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great week and fun Valentine’s Day! I have to admit, V-day is not one of my favorite holidays. I think it’s kind of stupid. But that doesn’t mean I’m not up for celebrating with flowers and sweets! My hubby works super long hours so we always end up celebrating on the weekend. So this weekend we are going to a nice Italian restaurant. It’s going to be a little extra special this year because we found out the gender of our baby yesterday! Unfortunately, I can’t spill the beans yet because we haven’t told our family but I will let you know as soon as I can! But I can tell you the ultrasound looked normal and we have a healthy baby so far!

The bad news is I’m still haven’t figured out my blogging schedule. I’m feeling a lot better (thank goodness!) but I’m still really lethargic and totally out of rhythm. I already feel like I’m sucking at being a mom and getting work done at the same time – and the hard part hasn’t even started yet!

Anyway, it’s time for Flashback Fashion Fridays! Here’s a look from last February! I’m a big fan of double denim looks. This time I paired a denim jacket with distressed jeans and broke it up with a long asymmetrical tank. And anytime I can take out this Walter & George speckled clutch I’m happy!

  1. Such a great casual outfit! 🙂 Don’t feel bad about taking things a little slower right now – you need to be gentle with yourself, it’s hard work growing a baby and you can blog when you can. Work can wait, you’re only pregnant for 9 months! 🙂

Thank you for the link up!
Hope you have a great weekend and enjoy celebrating a belated Valentine’s day!

  2. I love your flashback! Love those distressed jeans with those lace up flats. Mamahood is tough. It’s hard to find what is balancing and what isn’t. I still struggle with it and I have two girls and it’s been almost 6 years. It just is part of being a Mama and being a good Mama. You care about your baby and yourself and trying to do both! It takes some time so don’t be hard on yourself. It all comes together after some time! Happy weekend!
