A new year is always exciting because it’s a time for fresh starts and new beginnings. But this year is even more exciting for me because I welcomed my second baby boy, Christian, into the world on January 2nd! It also means that it’s time to get out all the baby items again! Since I’m having another boy I do have a lot of hand-me-downs to give to Christian. However, I want to give Christian a few new items to make him feel special too! That’s why I’m excited to partner with Babbleboxx to share some great products for baby!
Favorite Baby Products
aden + anais™ snuggle knit collection
I used aden + anais™ swaddles and cloths with my first baby, Harrison, so I was excited to try out their NEW snuggle knit collection with my newborn! Their products are sooo soft and definitely must-have products for babies. The snuggle knit collection includes knotted gowns, hats, swaddle blankets, loveys, and more for babies 0-3 months!
I was sent the snuggle knit newborn gift set and it really would make the perfect gift for a new mom. It includes a super soft knotted gown, swaddle blanket, baby hat, and bandana bib. These pieces are versatile and can be used for bedtime, playtime, and during travel! The set comes in 3 colors: navy stripe, rosettes, and heather grey so they are perfect for any baby.
I was also sent the snuggle knit lovey and it’s the softest thing ever! It’s great for newborns and toddlers so I’m excited that both my boys can use it. And the lovey and newborn gift set are machine washable which is super important!
The aden + anais™ snuggle knit collection is available on adenandanais.com, Amazon, and other retailers including Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, and specialty boutiques.
Butt Paste Maximum Strength Tube from Boudreaux’s
Another newborn essential is Boudreaux’s Maximum Strength Butt Paste. I used this product with Harrison and I’m using it again with Christian. We just went through a period of really bad, bleeding diaper rash with Christian and the Boudreaux’s Butt Paste was able to clear it up! I could definitely see an improvement in the rash after one application but since the rash was so bad it took about a week for the whole thing to clear up. I actually have a big container of the Butt Paste but this smaller tube is great for on-the-go! It’s definitely going in my diaper bag!
Boudreaux’s Maximum Strength Butt Paste contains 40% zinc oxide which provides a thick barrier of protection and is free of dyes, parabens, preservatives, and talc. It’s pediatrician approved and gently on a baby’s skin!
Lil’ Squish Jellyfish Sensory Rattle + Teething Toy from Baby Banana
I love that this toy is a sensory rattle and teething toy in one! The tentacle loops make it easy for baby to hold and the soft, squishy head with different textures makes it fun to chomp on. This teether is 100% silicone so it’s safe and durable. Christian isn’t teething yet but I’m excited to give this to him when he’s ready!
Tinkle Crinkle Activity Ball and Tinkle Crinkle Caterpillar from GUND
These baby GUND plush toys are the cutest!! I can’t wait to use them with Christian. Both of these plush toys have tactile and sensory stimulating details to keep baby entertained. The Tinkle Crinkle Activity Ball has cute 3-D character cut outs and different colored and textured fabrics with a variety of ribbons to make play fun and stimulating! TheTinkle Crinkle Caterpillar is full of surprises with a squeaker, crinkle, rattle, and bright colored and textured fabrics. Both of these toys are machine washable!
Toys from GUND make the perfect baby gifts for any occasion! They have a large collection of award winning plush toys that are great for all ages!
Baby Balm and Baby Lotion from Pipette featured in Good Housekeeping
Safe lotions and balms for newborn babies are super important for their extra sensitive and delicate skin! Both of my boys have had dry skin at some point so we end up going through a lot of lotion! And for those times when their skin could use a little extra love the Pipette Baby Balm is perfect. It’s extra-rich to nourish spots that might need extra love like the diaper line, elbows and knees. For all over hydration the Pipette Baby Lotion is great. Both of these products offer long-lasting hydration and help replenish skin’s moisture levels.
Pipette Baby was also featured in Good Housekeeping and got the check of approval! You can find their feature in the November 2019 issue on page 49. I love that these products are formulated without parabens and fragrances. They are also plant-based with ingredients like squalane which is great for hydration.
I hope this post has helped you discover some new favorite products for baby!
