Fashion Flirtation
I’m excited to introduce you to Victoria! I think you’ll fall in love with her fun style and personality! Keep reading below for some great fashion advice and stop by her blog and say “Hi”! Hi guys! I’m Victoria from Fashion Flirtation and I am so excited to be doing a guest post on Jeans and a Teacup today! I found this blog through a mutual blogger and I instantly fell in love. These ladies have such great style, and I love finding new fashion reads!

I am 20 years old, currently based in Gilbert, Arizona, and recently celebrated 6 months with the love of my life. I have always had a passion for fashion, and I’ve been reading fashion blogs for a very long time. But a common factor I seem to find in each blog is how much they are spending on their outfits. And I don’t know about you, but as a newlywed, that is just not something that I can afford to spend a lot on! I decided to start a fashion blog to show women that you can be fashionable without spending a fortune. Most of my clothing and accessories come from affordable places like Target, Marshalls, Old Navy, and Forever 21. I want women to know that looking amazing has nothing to do with how much you spend. I love finding great deals just as much as I love looking good, and that is what my blog is all about!

I love reading other fashion blogs, because I love finding new trends or colors that inspire me. In fashion, it is so important to be yourself, and to wear what you love and what you feel confident in. My biggest piece of advice to every fashionista out there, is that you should just throw the rule book out the window! [Right now!] If you don’t love a certain trend, don’t follow it! If skinny jeans don’t look good on you, don’t wear them! If you’d rather wear a t-shirt and jeans every day, do it! All that matters is that you feel confident, because that is when your personal style will shine through. Don’t copy someone else’s look. Take inspiration from their look, but make it your own. That is what fashion is all about.

The most important thing that I have learned from blogging is to just be yourself. Putting yourself out there–especially on the internet where anyone can type rude comments from behind a computer screen–is scary. Everyone likes their coffee different, and it’s the same with fashion. [Or writing, crafting, cooking–whatever it is that you do.] There are going to be plenty of people who don’t like your blog or what you wear, but you have to be confident enough to realize that the only thing that matters is whether or not you like it. Being confident [and thick-skinned] is so important in this blogging world. You just have to decide not to care what other people think about you, and to do what you love anyway. Your confidence and passion will shine through to your readers!
Thank you all for reading, and a huge thank you to Jessica and Megan for letting me guest post today! I’d love for you all to follow along with my fashion journey!

Victoria,
It is refreshing to see a young person that is conscious of their clothing budget.
Sometimes I am amazed at what some of the young bloggers are spending on clothing
My motto when I started my blog was shop your closet!
