Fall Wardrobe Staples

If I can’t dress for cooler weather I’m at least going to live vicariously through outfit collages! This is what I’d be wearing right now if it wasn’t still 85 degrees and I think every fall wardrobe should have these items in it.

Floral Dress: I’m loving fall floral dresses right now. Midi length, dark floral prints with long sleeves are my favorite right now. They are perfect for transitioning from warmer to cooler weather. Wear them as is for warmer weather and just add boots and a jacket for cooler weather! I just ordered this one and this one to see which one works the best!

Mid Ankle Booties: Ankle booties are always in for fall but to mix things up a bit I suggest going with a mid ankle or mid calf bootie. If you’ve always wanted to try cropped jeans but thought the length would look funny I suggest pairing them with a mid calf bootie to fill in the “space”.  All the cool kids are doing it! These booties also look great with midi dresses. I just ordered this pair!

Olive Green Bag: In my opinion, olive is the IT color for fall! It’s like a neutral – in that it will go with almost anything! I just ordered this olive bag!

Suede Jacket: This is the only item on this list that I haven’t ordered yet! Honestly, I think I’m going to have to get the BLANKNYC moto jacket that EVERY blogger is wearing right now. You just can’t beat the style and price! I’ve been looking around at other real leather options and nothing has come close yet. But if you aren’t into real leather there are a lot of faux options available – like this one from H&M! I’m loving the suede leather jackets because of the texture it brings to an outfit. Genuine leather is also great for a little extra warmth.
