Everlane Authentic Stretch Denim Review
Jump for joy! Everlane Stretch Denim is here! Well, almost here…it launches on September 5th! I got the chance to try out a pair a little early so I’m sharing my thoughts on the Stretch Denim versus the Non-Stretch Denim in today’s post!
What makes the Stretch Denim different from the Regular Denim?
If you can tell by the name, the stretch denim has more stretch to it! It’s supposed to be made out of a unique yarn that won’t bag out. The tag says it’s made from 77% Cotton, 17% Modal, 2% Elastane, and 4% Other Fiber as compared to the regular denim which is 98% Cotton and 2% Elastane. The Stretch Denim has a leather patch on the back which the regular denim does not. Also, It comes in a High-Rise Cigarette style which isn’t available in the non-stretch denim.
My Review of the Authentic Stretch Denim
I love it! It’s super comfortable and feels more like the skinny jeans I’m used to wearing. Everlane claims that their stretch material holds it’s shape better than other stretch skinny jeans but I haven’t had enough time to wear them yet to figure out if that’s true.
The reason why I would pick Everlane stretch skinny jeans over another brand is because they are made in clean denim factories where they recycle water, use alternative energy sources and repurpose the waste that’s created with denim production. Plus, at $78 they are affordable for a pair of quality denim!
Everlane Tall Sizes
The pair I’m wearing in today’s post is the High-Rise Stretch Skinny in the tall length. The tall length is 30.5 inches as opposed to 28.5 inches for the Regular length. I’m 5’8″ and I the tall length is perfect for me. It hits right at my ankle. I think Everlane lengths are on the shorter side. The regular length denim feels cropped to me and the tall length denim feels regular.
You can find my FULL Everlane Denim Review HERE! I go over a lot more styles and fits in that post.
How to Style Everlane Stretch Denim
I decided to style my stretch denim casually for a day in the park with my hubby and baby! Since the stretch jeans gives me more flexibility it allowed me to chase after my baby – and also do a few jumping jacks…haha. I paired my black skinny jeans with a linen knit tee from Reformation and my Everlane Day Gloves. These Everlane flats are seriously the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. The accent to my outfit is this leather belt from Rouje. I think it’s a nice (and cheaper) alternative to the Gucci belt that everyone and their mom seems to have.

These jeans look so comfy. I love the high rise and that they look to hold their shape. That’s the hardest thing with stretch skinnies. I hope you do a follow up post and let us know what you find out!

I will definitely update my Everlane Denim post with the results! I’m really hoping they keep their shape too!
Skinny jeans that don’t get baggy throughout the day are key. It’s always the worst because you don’t know what pairs will stretch out until you’ve already committed to them.
Chic on the Cheap
Yes! I hate when jeans stretch out after you’ve worn them a couple times. I’m hoping these keep their shape!
Love the jumping pic! Now, that is when you know a pair of stretch jeans are comfy! You look great, I love the style and would need a Tall as well. Good to know! Beautiful rust top- love the bit of Fall color.
