With all the commercialism of the holiday season it’s nice to take a step back and think about how your purchases can have a positive impact. And it’s easier now than ever to find ethical brands that are giving back to their communities and to people around the world. I’ve compiled a list of brands that I’ve bought from and/or worked with in the past, as well as some new-to-me brands that I’m excited to check out!
Gifts That Give Back
I’ve been a fan of this brand for awhile! 31Bits collaborates with artisans from around the world to provide job opportunities and access to a global market to people that wouldn’t normally have that chance. In connection with the non-profit, International Sanctuary, the survivors are given education, health care, counseling, and the skills and opportunities to succeed. I love that their designs are minimal and sophisticated. They also offer a Premier Line made with 14k gold and rhodium. You can see how I’ve styled some of their pieces here and here!
