Cowhide Clutch
I love discovering new small businesses and the perfect place to do that is at the Unique markets that pop in major cities like LA, New York and San Francisco. Two weekends ago I stopped by the market and got a chance to browse the amazing cowhide clutches and bags from Jackson and Hyde. I also got a chance to meet and talk to Ryan – one half of Jackson and Hyde. Him and his wife decided to start this company after discovering these clutches in a market in Nicaragua on their honeymoon! Since then they’ve partnered with Nicaraguan manufacturers to bring these gorgeous handmade clutches to the US. You can read more about their story here.
I had just discovered them on Instagram a couple days before the market so I was really excited to see their products in person. I walked away with this tan speckled clutch and a mini card holder. I love the texture that this clutch brings to any outfit. I decided to mix it with dark grey/black so that it would really stand out.
What I love about the Jackson and Hyde collections is the variety of cowhide patterns that they have. And each pattern will be slightly different which means you get a one of a kind piece. I’m hoping to add one of their amazing tote bags to my collection soon!
