Dress: Target (similar color), Belt: H&M, Shoes: DSW (similar), Necklace: J.Crew Outlet (similar shape)(also like), Bracelets: Target, Forever 21 Bag: H&M, Shades: Nine West via Marshalls, Nails: Essie Geranium |
I’m back! I had a great time with my friend Andrea. She took me to her church’s thrift store where I got a cute pair of shoes for about $1! Can’t wait to post some photos with those shoes!
This outfit is inspired by Kendi from Kendi Everyday. After I saw that it looked so cute on her and it was on clearance at my local Target I thought “why not?”. I didn’t set out to completely copy the outfit but I realized I had similar pieces and it just came together like that. It does have some problems like Kendi said. I’m in constant fear of flashing someone, it is pretty sheer and wrinkles very easily (as you can see from the photos). But I love the color and feel like it is very easy to accessorize.

The color looks fantastic. I love the simple nature of this dress. You look fabulous!

I love Kendi's style, she is really cool.
And that dress you have on, really chic.
Love the earthy neutrals, and your necklace is so pretty.
I love olive green and the geranium nails look fabulous with it! That dress was made for your body type. You look great!!
Great color combo! I am in love with your necklace! Thank you for stopping by my blog and taking the time to leave me a comment! I greatly appreciate it! I followed you 🙂

I've stolen a look off a mannequin or two – this looks so cute, why not? I love the mixed materials of the sweatshirt, and adore eyelet lace!
chic on the cheap
That top is perfection. Adore the way you styled it (copy cat or not, it's great)!

Sometimes the mannequin outfits just look so good, you have to! I've actually stolen the clothes right off the mannequin before when it was the last size 😉 haha!

I love that sweater! Looks great with the cute skirt.
You know, when a store is that on the money with its styling you just kind of have to do that!
I've been seriously considering those silver loafers, so adorable!

That is THE cutest skirt, I think this whole look is so pretty and feminine. Nothing wrong with stealing a whole look (Victoria Beckham is reknowned for copying things straight off the catwalk, right down to the nail polish!) P x
Love the back of this sweater! It is super cute!
I haven't worn them a whole lot yet – they need to be broken in a little bit. Not as comfortable as real leather but the faux leather is flexible enough that I think they will be fine!
I can see why you would copy this outfit from the mannequin – love it!!! I wanted this skirt and tired it on and it was way too short on me. Those loafers are so cute! Are they comfy?
