Christy Dawn Lysandra Dress Review

The Lysandra Dress recently dropped as a part of Christy Dawn’s Spring 2026 Collection, which I would describe as full of lace, florals, and textures. You can see all three of those in the Lysandra Dress, which is what makes it stand out. The pièce de résistance is the scalloped lace trim on the straps and neckline, accented by a cute yellow ribbon bow. The warm, 70s-inspired floral design is printed on textured, 100% organic cotton voile, adding even more depth to the print. Since the fabric is thinner and more delicate than their regular cotton dresses, it is fully lined. And of course, there are pockets, and the waist and bodice are elasticized.

Lysandra Dress Size and Fit

My Measurements: 34-29.5-39.5, 30D, 5’8″, 140lbs

I’m wearing size small, which is my usual Christy Dawn size, so I would say it runs true to size. However, if you are between sizes, you can take your smaller size since there is a lot of stretch and the dress isn’t tight to begin with.

My one gripe is that the description mentions that the “functional” center tie allows for an “adjustable fit”. I think this is a little misleading. While the tie at the bust is a ribbon that can be tied and untied, it doesn’t add any adjustability to the neckline. You can either tie the ribbon into a bow or leave it loose for a very low, sexy neckline.

Another thing to be aware of is that the lace panels in the middle of the bust are sheer, so you can see a little boob or bra. I’m wearing a nude, strapless sticky bra, but you can still see the outline of it through the lace. I think the best bra option for this dress is Sticky Cakes.

How to Style the Lysandra Dress

I always love a floral pattern with several colors because it makes it easy to find accessories and layers to match. In this pattern, there are red, brown, pink, yellow, cream, and green shades! I went with the obvious pairing of a red cardigan, but I think a butter-yellow sweater or cardigan would be amazing, since it would bring out the yellow ribbon accent! Any light pastel pink, yellow, or green would look great with this dress and be especially appropriate for spring!

Since it was rather chilly when I took these photos, I went with my red Gaspard cardigan and loafers with socks. But I’m definitely looking forward to wearing this dress in warmer temps!
