Christy Dawn Adele Dress Review
I can’t tell you how excited I am for all the spring and summer dresses! I recently got the Christy Dawn Adele Dress through their Ambassador program and it just might be one of my favorite Christy Dawn Dresses. I can’t wait to wear it on repeat this spring!

Christy Dawn Adele Dress Review
I actually wasn’t sure that I would love this dress. As a Christy Dawn Ambassador (or Steward) I get to choose from a couple pre-selected styles each month. The Adele dress was an option last month so I just went with it. Turns out – I LOVE this dress! It’s actually one of my top dress styles out of the 5 Christy Dawn Dresses that I own.

Adele Dress Details
The Adele Dress is made from 100% regenerative cotton and is a part of their Farm-to-Closet collection. The cotton is actually really soft, which I love! It’s a sleeveless midi tank dress with a lace up front and back, elastic straps, a side zipper, and tiered skirt. Oh! And it has pockets – gotta love the pockets! I also love that this dress has contrasting prints. There’s the floral print on the majority of the dress but then a striped print on the piping. I got the dress in the Daisy Blue but it’s also available in Oat Straw Red. I actually wanted to get the red version but that option wasn’t available to me.

Size and Fit
The main reason that I love this dress is that it’s SO adjustable. The laces are functional in the front and the back so you can really make it as tight or loose as you want. I find this particularly helpful when I’m switching out my bras. If I’m wearing a push-up bra I need to loosen the laces, if I’m wearing an unlined bra I need to tighten the laces. And once you adjust the laces for the perfect fit you don’t even have to undo them to get the dress on or off. There’s a side zipper that lets you get the dress on/off without disturbing the laces! So it’s also a super easy dress to put on.
I’m wearing the size small, which is my usual Christy Dawn size, so I’d say this dress runs TTS. Again, it’s a very adjustable dress so if it’s a little too big you can always make it tighter.

How to Style the Christy Dawn Adele Dress
Since it can still be a little chilly I’m pairing my Adele dress with a cardigan. I love a cropped cardigan or a long cardigan. I’m wearing the Everlane cropped cotton cardigan below but I also have the Jenni Kayne Oversized Cardigan which would be a little cozier. I also recently got the Tradlands cardigan which is more of a regular fit cardigan if that’s more your style. Obviously, a denim jacket would be great with this dress. Denim jackets are usually my go-to in the summer to cover up from the sun!

As far as accessories go I love a straw hat or straw bag with this dress. You can find a round up of where to get the best straw bags in this post. And my favorite straw hats come from Kin the Label or Janessa Leone.
I’m wearing my woven leather mules from Freda Salvador and I love the texture it brings to the look. I also love the woven shoes from Sézane. Freda Salvador’s D’Orsay sneakers would also pair perfectly with this dress. I even wore a pair of suede cowboy boots with this dress!
