I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! As you can see I’m not in LA anymore! It actually snowed on Christmas here in Colorado so I had a white Christmas! I wore this outfit on Christmas day. This “skirt” is actually a dress and I usually only wear it during the holidays. I’m actually really proud of myself for reinventing this dress…haha. It was on the longer side – below my knee – and I just felt it was outdated so I hand hemmed it! This would have been super easy if I had a sewing machine but I don’t so I had to sit with my needle and thread for about an hour. It was worth it though! Now I have this cute little tartan “skirt” in my closet. It’s actually a strapless dress so I wore a sweater over it to keep warm.
I also finally have a snood! My brother asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I told him a snood. He was actually able to figure out what that was and picked this one out himself! Way to go little brother!

Love it!
I love your scarf. I was hoping it was a double length scarf – I just feel so weird about the single strand on me. Dang, I do love the pattern and it on you!
Love your outfit! That belt is so cute with the bow!

Gorgeous look! I love that scarf and the plaid skirt. Plaid tops are so big right now but they don't really suit me. I never thought of wearing it on a skirt! So cute.

What a perfect Christmas outfit! The hemmed "skirt" looks great with that sweater. I was sick, so I didn't brave the post-Christmas snow in Cincinnati for any outfit photos. After seeing how great yours look, I wish I had. We definitely won't be seeing any of that here in LA!
super cute hun!
love that you reinvented the dress, I always do this. The bow belt is such an adorable addition..love it.
Its snowing a lot in NY right now too..actually kinda loving it;)
