I spend A LOT of time thinking about and researching skincare products. The skin is the largest organ on the body and it’s so important to find the right ingredients and products that are safe AND effective. That’s why I’m excited to introduce you to CeraVe – a skincare line enriched with essential ceramides that was developed by dermatologists!
CeraVe Skincare for Mom and Baby
If you are looking for a therapeutic skincare line that WORKS then you need to check out CeraVe’s products. CeraVe products are specifically formulated to penetrate the skin’s surface and lock moisture in for long lasting results.
CeraVe Skincare for Baby
Lately, my baby boy has been suffering from extremely dry, red patches on his body – specifically his face, arms, and legs. I have A LOT of different lotions and balms that I’ve been using on his skin the last couple of weeks but nothing has cleared it up. So I was VERY interested to see if CeraVe would do the job!
When I got my CeraVe products I opened the Baby Healing Ointment right away. This is a thick balm that melts into the skin to help treat extra dry, chapped skin. It’s fragrance-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, dye-free and lanolin-free, and also accepted by the National Eczema Association! I was really impressed with how thick it was. I initially had a hard time squeezing it out of the tube! But I could tell that it was really going to help protect Christian’s skin. Even though it’s a really thick balm, it literally just melted into his skin.
Above, you can see the before and after (It’s hard to get good pictures of a squirmy baby…haha). I put the ointment on his skin before his nap and when he woke up an hour or two later there was so much improvement in his skin! His cheeks were a lot less red and much softer. And that was after just one application!
Since then, I’ve been using it on his rough, dry patches 1-2 times a day and his skin is so much better. The redness is gone and the dry patches are improving. You can see in the photo below that his face is a lot clearer after using it for a couple days.
To supplement the CeraVe Healing Ointment I’ve been using the Baby Wash & Shampoo during bath time. The baby wash is a gentle, tear-free and fragrance-free formula that helps maintain baby’s skin barrier. I follow that up with the Baby Moisturizing Lotion all over his body after the bath to moisturize and protect his skin. All of these products contain CeraVe’s three essential ceramides and are accepted by the National Eczema Association.
CeraVe Skincare for Mom
When caring for little ones, it’s often easy to neglect your own skincare routine. But mom’s skin is just as important! I ALWAYS wash and moisturize my skin – morning and night. And I’m always on the lookout for simple and effective products that deliver results!
I just added the CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser and Daily Moisturizing Lotion to my routine. The non-foaming facial cleanser gently removes dirt and oil without stripping skin. It moisturizes with hyaluronic acid and ceramides to balance and restore skin. It is actually very moisturizing! I almost thought I was putting lotion on my face because it doesn’t lather. But that’s what makes it great for sensitive, dry skin. The Daily Moisturizing Lotion is lightweight and oil-free and it’s great to use on your whole body. This lotion doesn’t make me feel greasy and it absorbs very quickly so it’s great to use during summer months.
If you are looking for effective, dermatologist-recommended skincare products that work for the whole family, then CeraVe products are for you!
