Camel Knit Sweater and Vintage Style Jeans
Remember how I recently talked about My Favorite Places to Buy Sweaters? Well, here is the one I recently bought from Sezane! It was literally love at first sight with this sweater. If you can’t tell, I’m kind of addicted to this color. Plus, the knit has such a cool pattern and can be worn forwards or backwards so it’s versatile! (The back has a low scoop). I’ve found that Sezane sweaters run large. This is an XS but fits like an oversized Small in my opinion.
I decided to add this minimalist shoulder bag in this gorgeous green shade (also from Sezane). I love the mix of the green/camel shades. This bag was a Christmas gift from my hubby. I was drawn to it because of the simplicity but also the amazing green color. I don’t often see bags in this shade so I really wanted to add it to my bag collection. I’ve found the green shade works like a neutral and goes with pretty much any outfit.
This outfit is probably one of my more “expensive” outfits. As much as I love a good sale and budget friendly pieces, sometimes I like to invest in more expensive items. Reformation denim is a little bit more expensive but I love their commitment to sustainability. And Sezane pieces are definitely a splurge but I’ve found that I’m more likely to keep these pieces in my closet and get more wear out of them because they feel “special”. I think the key to splurging on items is to make sure they aren’t too trendy. You have to imagine yourself being able to wear it years from now.
What do you like to splurge on?
Outfit Details:
Sezane Sweater (comes in 4 colors) – wearing XS
Reformation Denim
Sezane Bag
Zara Shoes (option)
Ray-ban Sunglasses
Centime Necklace c/o
Linking Up:
Pumps and Pushups, Pastries Pumps and Pi, Shopping My Closet, Classy Yet Trendy, Color and Grace, Living on Cloud Nine, Jersey Girl Texan Heart, Posh Classy Mom
I’m similar in my splurges. They are unique pieces that work very well with my style that will still be in style for years to come. But I’m still a sucker for sales. (My biggest splurge was still heavily discounted.)
Love this whole look.

Thanks Mary! Yes! I definitely love a good sale on splurge items too! 🙂 Unfortunately, it seems the places I like to splurge recently don’t really have sales that often…darn it! haha…
Fantastic bag and such a cozy sweater! You are looking great. 🙂

Gorgeous sweater and I love your reformation jeans. The button fly detail is so different from the zippers I am used to seeing a lot of. I am the same way when splurging on items. Otherwise, I feel like it’s a waste of investment if I didn’t really wear or use it.
