California Fur

I really want to wear fur. But in California there’s really no need for it. This winter has been very mild and I barely ever wear a coat. So I’ve figured out the best way to get my fur fix is to wear fur collars. It’s kind of like a warm, fuzzy necklace! This would be the third fur collar in my collection. I love to get them off of Etsy. Fur can be expensive – even though faux fur! But I’ve found that Etsy prices are really reasonable. This one was $25 and I think the faux fur looks really nice. I also love how fur collars can be worn with and without a coat. When worn with a collarless coat it makes it look like the fur collar is actually part of the coat!

I’m a blogger, baker, diyer, wifey, aunt to 7 handsome guys and 2 gorgeous gals, faux interior decorator, homebody, popcorn eater, obsessed with the color purple (the actual color not the movie), and sometimes I make up parties just to see how pretty the invitations look. Butcher’s niche started in July 2013 after our classy, vintage, rustic, DIY backyard wedding. Since then the Niche has evolved into a blog all about style in your everyday life – home decor, recipes, relationships, beauty, hair, and of course fashion.”
