I’m actually not that big a fan of neon but for some reason I love this highlighter yellow color! (it’s actually a lot brighter in person).  I also tend to stay away from too many bright colors in one outfit but I decided to go a little crazy with a neon blouse and bright cobalt heels.  Ok, maybe it’s not that crazy but it’s a new combination for me!
In other news my husband and I are going back home to visit our families for about a month.  So get ready for some down on the farm pictures! Today I’ll be trying to figure out how to pack one suitcase for a month long trip.  It’s so hard to narrow down my closet! I’m going to try not to over pack so get ready for a lot of re-mixing!

  5. I feel the same way! I'm not a huge fan of the neon trend, but when I found a highlighter yellow cardigan at the thrift store, I fell in love. Something about this bright yellow… it seems to go with a lot and is so fun! You look cute as usual 🙂

  6. This looks fantastic on you and I would've never guessed that you didn't always wear these colors! They suit you perfectly We are also getting ready to pack for a long trip – we should compare notes! I'm so nervous, what if I forget that one thing that I need? Uggh, so stressful.   12. That looks so good! Boy do I love that skirt. I just recently bought a lime green/chartreusy top with white polka dots from J.Crew and I LOVE it. I like how neon can actually look classy now! And I totally get you on the packing! On Friday, I'm leaving for Michigan, where I'll be until mid August! Thankfully, we're driving so I don't have to fit it in a suitcase, but it's still tough! Good luck with the packing! xx
