Last Tuesday I attended the second #Bloggywood event held at Keene LA.  A new boutique store in Westwood that according to their website is “East Coast Classic meets California Casual”.  I definitely agree! As someone that grew up near Philadelphia and now lives in California I definitely try to balance the two styles in my wardrobe.  Keene LA has really great pieces at affordable prices, similar to Zara or H&M.  What I was most impressed with is their amazing jewelry collection! (Check out this pic…I’m mesmerized!)  
Unfortunately, my night didn’t start out so great.  I sat in about 2 hours of traffic to get there (when it should have taken about a half hour).  But the biggest bummer was that I forgot my wallet! Not a good thing to do when going to a store filled with so many cute clothes and accessories! It also meant that I didn’t have money to park in a lot and had to circle the block looking for street parking. So by the time I got there I was about an hour and a half late and a little flustered! Good thing they had some champagne waiting for me and yummy snacks by Corner Bakery Cafe!  So it was still a good night and I am happy to have found a new place to shop.  If you live in the area definitely check it out and support Keene LA.  I’m hoping they open up even more stores around LA soon! 
If you are an LA blogger you definitely need to get connected with #Bloggywood.  It’s a great opportunity to meet other bloggers.  You don’t necessarily need to be focused on fashion.  The first event was held at Bruhaus so that one was definitely for foodies! I’ve met some really cool people and also gotten to attend some fun events.  Check out their facebook page for more info on the next one!
