This year my style has shifted to a more minimalist approach so I’ve become interested in brands that reflect that. I’ve rounded up my favorite minimalist fashion brands that are also affordable below!
Best Minimalist Fashion Brands
This should come as no big surprise if you’ve been following my blog recently. I LOVE EVERLANE….haha. I haven’t been paid to say that either. Honestly I just find Everlane a great mix of style and quality at the right price. They are also a very transparent company and share where and who is making their clothes along with how much it actually cost to produce an item and how much they are selling it for. I think that’s really admirable!
Shop my favorite Everlane pieces:
COS is actually a branch of H&M but with a more modern, minimalist style. I fell in love the unique styles and rich colors that a lot of their items have. Of course, they also have an extensive collection of black and white pieces like the top I’m wearing. COS also has a collection of modern jewelry which is something that Everlane doesn’t have. The price point is a little higher than H&M but they have amazing sales where item’s are 50-70% off! So keep an eye out for that.

I discovered Modern Citizen earlier this summer at a pop up shop in DTLA. I literally fell in love with all of the pieces at the shop. I’d say these pieces definitely have a more feminine vibe than either Everlane or COS. So if you are a feminine minimalist (is that a thing?) this is the brand for you! I ended up with this knit tank and an off the shoulder ruffle blouse. Modern Citizen is having a great sale right now with pieces up to 70% off! Now is totally the time to try out this brand. P.S. sizes run big so check out the size chart before you order!

Aritzia is a brand that has a lot of followers in the blogging world. Here you’ll find a collection of Aritzia developed brands and a selection of other brands with the same aesthetic. I’ve only ordered from Aritzia once but have been an admirer of their pieces for awhile. There are so many things I want! I finally decided to go with this linen jumpsuit. I feel like items go fast on their website and I ordered this when it was backordered so it took me awhile to get it. But I would definitely order from Aritzia again. They also have amazing sales – just be sure to check out their return policy.

Frank and Oak is a Canadian based company that has a curated selection of limited edition basics. I love that they are committed to ethical practices and sustainable fabrics. I’m a huge fan of their denim because of the retro styles and reasonable price. I have two pairs at the moment and would love to add more to my collection! They are based in Canada but I’ve found that their shipping is really fast! They also have a cool Monthly Clothing Subscription Box where you can save 20% on every order with free shipping and returns!

Honorable Minimalist Mentions:
I haven’t shopped at any of these places but they look really interesting!
AYR,
AKA All Year Round, is a brand that specializes in functional, sophisticated pieces for everyday life. They are based in California so the vibe is definitely laid back and chic!
ACHRO (now called Mijeong Park)
An LA brand that is all about simplicity and quality. I love the cut and style of all their pieces.
GRANA
The place to go for affordable wardrobe staples. I’m loving the price point of all their items – especially the silk pieces. Seriously, I’m going to add some items to my shopping cart right now! I also love that they are very transparent about their pricing and production.
Any brands that I’m missing? What are your favorite minimalist brands?
