Even though I love to put a lot of thought into my outfits everyday, I don’t really do the same for my hair! I need a style that’s super easy and doesn’t take a lot of time. If you’ve been following me for awhile, you’d know that I wear my hair curled everyday and I usually use a flat iron to create the loose, romantic curls. It works great and only takes about 10 minutes! So I thought I was all set with my go-to hairstyle until T3 Micro asked me to review their Singlepass Wave Styling Wand!

T3 Micro SinglePass Wave Review

I’d never used a styling wand before. I’d only ever tried a typical hair curler with a clamp. The difference between a wand and a curling iron is that the wand has a tapered barrel and no clamp so you basically just wrap your hair around the barrel and hold it for a few seconds. The result is a loose wave with straight ends – the perfect beachy wave look!

It’s fun to mix things up every now and then so I’m glad I have another go-to look. I feel like this style is a little more laid back and casual compared to the loose curls I get with the flat iron. The only downside is, the waves from the styling wand don’t last as long as the curls from my flat iron. But that’s probably because they are a looser wave so they end up loosing the curl faster.

I also want to talk about this outfit because it’s one of my new favorites. I’d been seeing this Reformation top all over instagram in white so I thought it’d be fun to try out in black! I actually really like it because the smocked bodice is tight and holds everything together so I didn’t even need to wear a bra! The rest of my look is from Zara. I just picked up this denim mini skirt. It seemed like a casual summer statement piece that I needed in my closet. And finally, THIS CLUTCH. How amazing is this tortoiseshell minaudiere?! It was love at first sight and I ordered immediately. It has a little gold strap so it can be worn as a crossbody as well. Also, it could definitely be used in the evening for going out but I like how it looks styled casually too.

  1. I love your photos Jessica especially the third one. Love the box clutch too – so cute and unique! Your hair looks beautiful this way and love the extra volume that it adds. Are you used to the color now? I think it suits you! Wishing you a happy weekend!

    1. Thanks Jess! I actually just got my hair colored again because I didn’t like the bright blonde…haha. I can’t wait to take pics of the new hair because I think it looks better! I hope you have a great weekend!

    1. Thanks! Yeah, my hair is hard to curl so that’s probably why they don’t last as long too. But I do like this hairstyle so I’m going to try to keep up with it! Have a nice weekend! Hope you enjoyed your time off!

    1. Thanks Shelbee! There definitely was a learning curve to it. I was afraid to burn my hand so I wore the styling glove for awhile…haha. But now I can do it without the glove! Have a great weekend!
