This past weekend the hubs and I got the chance to spend a mini-mini babymoon/anniversary trip at the Korakia Pensione in Palm Springs! I say mini-mini because we got there at midnight on Saturday and had to leave Monday afternoon because of my hubby’s work schedule. But we still had an amazing time! I wish I had know about Korakia earlier because I’d definitely have gone a lot sooner! It’s absolutely stunning! Definitely an oasis in the desert. Sadly, I don’t know if I’ll be able to go back anytime soon because no kids are allowed (I’m guessing that includes babies…haha).

I’d never been to Palm Springs before and I was expecting it to be hot but I forgot that it can get really hot there. It was around 107 degrees both days we were there. Yikes! I’m so glad I packed my lightweight summer dresses like this one from ASOS. Sadly, it only comes in the maternity style but I feel like it would still work even if you aren’t pregnant. It will also work for nursing because you can undo the shoulder ties and front tie.

But my accessories will definitely work even if you aren’t pregnant! I just got this J.Crew circle bag and I love it! The straps are leather, the inside lining is a gingham print, and the raffia pom poms are removable. It’s a super cute bag for summer. The only downside is it’s a little small. I don’t think it fits an iphone 7+ but I can still fit my iphone 6s in it along with small items like lipstick, keys, etc. If you want other summer bag options check out this post!

I’ve also been wearing these Olive & June sandals on repeat. Olive & June is actually a super cute nail salon here in LA and they just came out with these leather wrap sandals that are perfect if you are getting a pedicure because you can lace them up multiple ways so you don’t mess up your nails! But they are also great for everyday wear.

Stay tuned for more of my outfits from our Palm Springs trip!
