I was a little MIA this week on the blog because I was in Pennsylvania with family for my baby shower! It’s all starting to feel real now guys! I thought it was the perfect opportunity to wear this white lace maternity dress from Ingrid and Isabel. I’d been saving it specifically for my shower – it’s just perfect! And since I’m having a little boy I needed to bring in some blue to my outfit so I added a flower crown and baby blue nails.

I also added a little bling with my Motif jewels from my Modern + Minimal collection. This bracelet and ring are probably my favorites from the collection and I think the bracelet especially would make a nice gift for Mother’s Day. It’s really delicate and gorgeous!

I thought I’d share a few photos from my shower! I’m very grateful for my family and my husband’s family who set up the whole thing and made decorations. I think they did a great job!

Baby Boy Shower Decorations

My Mother-in-law and Sisters-in-law made the decorations!

Baby Boy Shower Table Setting Decor

Of course, there has to be some Batman decor because my husband is a HUGE fan.

Children’s books that go along with the food – what a cute idea! Plus the most amazing cake!

Jeans and a Teacup baby shower

My little seen husband made an appearance at the end of the shower. And the most sentimental gifts – a teddy bear made out of my Grandpa’s shirts from my Aunt. He passed away a little over a year ago so this is an awesome reminder to share with my baby boy. And my mom made this play mat! Don’t you think she should sell these??

And a special thanks to my cousin who took the photos at my shower. She is just about to graduate high school and is super talented! Check out her website here.

Ok, now onto Flashback Fashion Fridays! Here’s a look from last May (it’s May already??). I’m really sad that I can’t fit into my Everlane Square Shirts right now. This silk top comes in 8 colors! They are perfect for summer and I also really love the linen styles they have too.
