Where did the weekend go?! Things are going to start getting busy around here now that I’ve started clarinet rehearsals on Saturdays again. It’s great that it gives me a reason to keep playing but it’s not a paid gig and I don’t get home until 3pm. So I feel like most of my day is gone by the time I get back. And Sunday was spent packing up half of our apartment so renovations can begin. My whole kitchen is in the living room right now and the bathroom/laundry room is in the bedroom. NOT FUN! Today I get the orange and black walls! Ugh…
Anyway, I picked this top up on SALE at H&M for $7! I’m so excited that I have a summer top for these pants (now that summer’s over! haha..). There was actually a chill in the air this morning! And that’s always a great time to break out the sleeveless tops! (yeah, not really). So I wore a denim jacket in the morning and by the afternoon it was warmer.
Have a great Monday!

Those pants are GORGEOUS on you lady!
These pants are amazing! And I love the pop of color with your heels, just perfect!
Peplum tops seem to pair so perfectly with printed pants, and I really love this pair. Plus, i'm sure you'll still find a bunch of ways to layer this top in the cooler weather.
Great outfit. Love the pop of colour with those mint shoes!!!!!!

It's not fun to live with things cleared out for renovations, but it'll all be with it! That's so fun that you've been rehearsing on the clarinet! And I love your outfit, the shoes are such a great pop of color!
Such a great deal on the top! You can always put a jacket/blazer over it so you can wear it through the fall.
You HAVE to take a photo of the black/orange walls when it's done!

Hey, that sleeveless top will come in handy when you're stuck inside a stuffy mall sometime and need to lose some layers, haha.
The pants are gorgeous! Love that print. Very leg-lengthening.
Oooh, I have that top too and I love it! It's stunning on you! And I love those pants as well – I have the skirt version of that pattern! Lovely as always Jessica!

I am in love with this outfit! The top & pants are so chic, and the way you popped those mint shoes in there -fantastic! You look so beautiful!
I can't believe you're getting orange & black walls….is your landlord playing a Halloween prank on you or something? In related news, those are my old college's colors, and they are just so awful when it isn't October. I am so very sorry you'll have to live with those colors in your apartment. Though maybe it won't be as bad as I'm imagining?…please post photos! I'm really curious to see how they turned out!
