A Sweater Dress with Knee High Boots Outfit
Ever since I found knee high boots that work for me I’ve been wanting to pair them with a shorter sweater dress. Usually, I don’t gravitate towards short dresses (especially in the fall/winter) because I feel too exposed. But the coverage from OTK and knee high boots has allowed me to wear shorter dress while still feeling covered!

Sézane Adrienne Dress
Sézane always has a lot of great sweater dresses available. I picked up the Léontine Dress earlier this year and loved it so I thought I’d try another one. I was drawn to the Adrienne Dress because of the dark green color. I’ve been trying to add a little bit of color into my wardrobe instead of all beiges and blacks! It also has nice details like the button sleeves and high neck.
This sweater dress is made from 100% merino wool which I find less itchy than their mohair/wool/alpaca sweaters. I actually can wear this dress by itself against my skin without feeling itchy. I’m wearing the size small which is my usual size and it’s the perfect slightly oversized fit.
Freda Salvador MOLLY Knee High Boots
I actually bought this dress because I knew it would look great with my Freda Salvador MOLLY boots. I’ve styled the MOLLY Boots with a long slip dress but this is my first time pairing them with a shorter dress.
As you can see, they are a looser, slip on style boot that hits above my knees. However, the elongated and rounded shaft at the top lets your knees stick out when you sit or bend. After wearing these boots throughout the day the shaft does start to slip down my leg and the top flaps start to move around a lot. I do have thin legs so it doesn’t surprise me! I do think I need to add some leg warmers to my calves to give the shaft more stability so they don’t fall down as much.

My Sézane Romie Bag has been a favorite this fall. I just love the shape and size of it. The simple, classic style goes with everything! The Romie bag is available in other beautiful colors. And if you are looking for something bigger, the Mara bag is similar!
I also think this outfit would look great with a blanket scarf. I picked up the Reversible Check Scarf from the Pretty Little Fawn X TBCo collaboration and it’s beautiful! I forgot to add it to my outfit for pictures but I think any of the scarfs in the collection would be great.
