A Summer French Girl Outfit
I know I was just talking about dressing for fall in my last post, but I’m not done with summer yet! Obviously, it still looks and feels like summer so I’m going to continue to wear my skirts and dresses. I just can’t say goodbye to my French-chic summer looks just yet!
This look was inspired by the outfits on the Rouje website. I always liked the look of the midi skirts with the light knit tee but I didn’t feel like spending $100 on one. Luckily, I found a similar style on & Other Stories for $30! & Other Stories is one of my favorite stores to shop at because they have a mix of all my favorite styles. Their store is a mix of designs from Paris, Los Angeles, and Stockholm so there are romantic and feminine pieces, trendy pieces, and minimal designs! This tee happens to be designed in Los Angeles but I still think it has French vibes.
I originally wore this outfit to brunch with a pair of converse sneakers. But when I took these photos I forgot to change back into them…haha. These shoes work fine too but I liked the sporty/feminine combo of the sneakers with the skirt!
Outfit Details:

Rouje Skirt
Topshop Bag
Madewell Shoes

Ray-ban Sunglasses
Now onto Flashback Fashion Fridays! Here’s a look from last August. I still love this dress and jacket combo! Luckily, I still have both in my closet!
the 90’s vibe of tiny florals and cropped tees is really fun, I’m sure even more so with the sneakers!

Love that skirt. I used to have something similar a long time ago, but passed is along back when it wasn’t in fashion anymore. Now that the style is back in, I’m really wishing that I had kept it… could say that about a lot of things, ha.

Summer is far from over. It’s actually warm in my neck of the woods up to early November or if we have a repeat of last year then up to early December. I love how easy and cool your outfit looks. I can see how a converse sneakers would change things up but this white flats work too! Wishing you a fabulous weekend ahead and happy Friday!

So pretty! I love that skirt and bag! I’m never ready for summer to end. Our winters are so long in Wisconsin.
That’s such a beautiful skirt! I love the vintage vibe of it too, I’m sure I used to have a skirt similar to that when I was younger, very similar print! 🙂
Thank you for the link up!
I hope that you are having a wonderful week and you have a nice weekend ahead of you! 🙂
