As much as I love the idea of “dressing to the nines” during the holidays, I’m usually drawn to a simple holiday outfit when the time comes to actually go out. But even though this outfit is pretty basic and comfortable, it still has some details that make it stand out!
A Simple Holiday Outfit
Darling SOciety Glide Skirt
It all started with this black slip skirt from Darling Society. I knew it would be a great year-round piece but especially for the holidays. The silky, satin-like material adds a subtle sheen to the outfit. It also has a lovely drape and movement. I’m wearing size small, which is my usual size, so I’d say it runs TTS. The Glide skirt is also available in a lovely maroon color as well – perfect for the holidays!
St. Roche Ivy Sweater
The St. Roche Ivy sweater is a stunning hand-knit sweater with puff sleeves. St. Roche is one of my favorite brands for luxury sweaters because the details and materials are top-notch. I have several of their sweaters in my collection but the IVY sweater stands out as my most dramatic one. The puff sleeves really make a statement so it’s a sweater I feel like I can easily dress up or down. You can see more of this sweater in my St. Roche Sweater Review.
Sézane Paula Babies
The Sézane Paula Babies are my go-to holiday shoe. I’m wearing it with ALL my holiday outfits. They literally go with every outfit and they have a comfortable block heel. I chose black patent because I think that’s a very versatile color. But they are also available in gold, silver, and other fun colors!
And of course, a holiday outfit wouldn’t be complete without a red lip and sparkly clutch! I’ve had this clutch for a while and don’t remember where it’s from but J.Crew always has fun party bags! I don’t remember what red lip color I’m wearing in the post but I just ordered the NARS Liquid Lipstick in Don’t Stop and I’m excited to try it out! I’ve heard great things about it.
