Are you ready for fall fashion? Because ready or not, here it comes! Fall is actually a difficult time for me here in California. I really want to start wearing all sweaters and pants and jackets but the weather just doesn’t want to cooperate! It’s actually the only time I start getting jealous of the East Coast weather….haha.
So when the weather is still warm but I want to start dressing for fall I follow these tips.
In today’s look I’m following tip number two: Incorporate fall prints and textures. I’m sure you’ve started to notice A LOT of leopard prints recently. That’s because animal prints are hitting the runways big time this fall. And while this blouse isn’t leopard print, snakeskin is still going to be a popular print. I love that this top has a lot of neutral colors without being to in-your-face with the snakeskin print. It makes it easy to mix with a lot of other neutrals in my closet – like this flax colored midi skirt. I’m also incorporating more animal print textures into my outfit with my Marais croc-embossed bag and sandals.
Even though this outfit is definitely still summer appropriate with the linen skirt and sandals, I’m tying in fall trends with the long sleeve silk animal print blouse, animal print accessories, and neutral colors!
