I’m back in LA! My hubby and I took a flight from Atlanta last night and now we finally get to hang out in our apartment that we haven’t seen in about 3 weeks. Since my hubby gets to fly first class on work trips he upgraded me to first class as well! It was my first time flying first class (and probably my last because those tickets are not cheap!). It’s kind of been on my bucket list to fly first class and this seemed like the best opportunity. And now I NEVER WANT TO FLY COACH AGAIN! I just realized that in coach you basically pay for all the free things that first class passengers get. I had about 4 glasses of wine because I wanted to milk it for all it was worth. I had vegetable ravioli for dinner and chocolate gelato for dessert. Plus I got to watch whatever movies I wanted for free!! Oh, and they serve you hot towels on a platter…whaaa?! The almost 4 hour flight flew by so quickly and I was actually comfortable the whole time. It was heaven…haha. My hubby and I will be taking a flight to Colorado in August and sadly we will be back in coach…
My weekend in Atlanta was fun too. I love to eat so my favorite part was trying out different restaurants. I made sure to get lots of grits and biscuits and gravy. I actually really love those things for breakfast so I was loving it! The only thing I noticed was that the servers weren’t very good about refilling my coffee. They hardly ever stopped by my table and I never got a coffee refill unless I asked. Is that a thing in Georgia? I thought since I was in the south the servers would be more attentive (ya know – southern hospitality?). Oh well!
We were able to hike up Stone Mountain, visit the Dream Cars exhibit at the High Museum of Art and see a Braves/Phillies baseball game! So it was definitely a fun and interesting weekend in Atlanta. Check out my Instagram for a few pics from my trip. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was all the rain and humidity! But I’m back in LA now so I won’t have to deal with rain for about 6 months…haha.

I got to ride in first class (free upgrade ftw!) and it was freaking amazing, except that I maybe had one too many cocktails since they were free haha 😉 I love how ladylike this look is, midi skirts look great on you!

Ahhh first class… I always imagine what that might be like, hahaha. Glad you had a great trip, but no matter where you go or for how long, I suppose there is no feeling quite like being home again.
