A Layered Look

Anyway, I recently picked up this cable knit sweater and striped shirt on sale. I thought they would be great closet staples – especially for layering. I love this sweater so much (it’s not itchy!) that I might pick it up in more colors. 

I’m also stealing a style idea from last year’s J.Crew catalog and wearing this silk scarf layered under my sweater. I admit – I kinda thought it was weird when I first saw it but a year later it’s kind of grown on me. I also think it looks good under a blazer.
