Greetings from Philadelphia! I got the chance to stop by one of my favorite cities while I’m in Pennsylvania visiting family. I went into the city with my mom and we had a nice lunch at Parc Restaurant a long Rittenhouse Square. It’s a French inspired restaurant so it’s goes along with my French obsession right now! We sat outside on the patio and I ordered French onion soup, beet and goat cheese salad, and a cocktail! Then we came back for some crème brûlée and lattes! I definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the Philly area!

I thought a breezy wrap dress would be perfect for a fancy lunch in the city. So I wore this gorgeous green number I got from The Pretty Little Fawn’s closet. And maybe it’s my hair but I went for a bolder look with colorful statement earrings. I’m usually wearing simple gold pieces but I can’t resist statement jewelry from History + Industry. The pieces are handmade and can be pricey but I always wait for a good sale and score pieces between $30-50!

Oh, did I mention my hair on here yet? Well, I went in for subtle balayage and came out looking like this. Honestly, I don’t know what my stylist was thinking. Specifically, I said I didn’t want to be blonde and I just wanted slightly more noticeable highlights. I even showed her pictures and none of those pictures looked like this. *sigh*

What do you think? Should I fix my hair (add more brown and lighten the bangs) – or keep as is? I’m not sure I’m cut out to be a blonde…haha.

  1. The dress is so pretty! I love the shade of green it is, as for your hair it is pretty light. I think you can pull it off but if you don’t feel comfortable with it I’d go get more of darker brown worked in there. Also thank you so much for being a pick for last week! I loved that whole outfit!
