A 70’s Inspired Outfit: Floral Blouse + Wide Leg Denim

When I bought these pants and this blouse I wasn’t planning on putting together a 70’s inspired outfit. However, when I tried them on together, I realized they were a perfect pair! This is an outfit I also think will transition easily from summer to fall.

Sézane Susan Blouse

I was initially drawn to the Susan blouse because of the cool print mixing. There’s three different patterns in this blouse! The floral design is subdued and reminds me of a vintage 70’s design as well. The blouse is made from organic cotton so it’s nice and soft and lightweight. It’s definitely a top I can see wearing all summer long.

P.S. If you aren’t a fan of this style top but still love the print, it’s available in multiple pieces – from dresses, to jackets, to more blouses!

As the weather gets cooler I think this top will look super cute layered under a light merino sweater. You can even pull the collar overtop the sweater for a cute accent!

Sézane Augusto Trousers

I paired my 70’s inspired floral blouse with my 70’s inspired high waisted, wide leg denim pants. I love these pants because they have a more formal trouser vibe but are still made from denim! The stitched pleats along the front of the pant also give them a crisp look, which I love. The Augusto Trousers make you look like you have legs for days because of the high waist and longer length. I’m 5’8″ and have to wear about 3″ heels to make sure they don’t drag on the ground.

I finished off the look by adding my Sézane straw bag and Sézane espadrilles.

As I mentioned above, this look can easily transition to fall by adding a sweater or cardigan and switching out the espadrilles for a pair of booties! I’ll definitely be doing that once the weather starts to cool down!
