70’s Fall Fashion Trends
The 70’s trend has been popular this summer and looks like it’s going strong into the fall as well. I have to admit, at first I wasn’t really on board. The 70’s aren’t my favorite decade for fashion. But in small doses and with the right item I feel like I can totally rock these trends.
I picked out a few of the 70’s fashion trends that I can get behind below.
Bucket bags are probably my favorite 70’s inspired trend. I love “hands free” bags so the crossbody strap is perfect. Plus they can carry a lot. It’s a win-win situation!

My next favorite 70’s trend is the bow tie blouse. I feel like this trend isn’t totally new (since I already own a few). But if you’ve been looking to add one to your closet you’re in luck because they will be all over the place this fall. This is an item that will still be cute even when the 70’s trend wanes.
Fringe has been everywhere this summer and luckily there are easy ways to add this trend to any outfit. It’s as easy as adding some fringe accessories to any look. Or you could embrace this trend by wearing a fringe skirt or sweater.

Lastly, we have the flare jeans. The last time I wore a pair of flare jeans was in college! Like it or not, you’ll be seeing a lot more flared jeans in stores this fall. These jeans are great if you want to make your legs look a mile long. Find a pair of flare jeans that are a little longer than your normal inseam, add a pair of high heels and voila! You just added a few inches to your legs. Make it a pair of high waisted jeans if you really want to embrace the 70’s!
What do you think of these 70’s trends? Which is your favorite?
