Fall has FINALLY arrived in California and I’m SO happy! This past week temps were in the 60’s and it was amazing. It finally gave me a chance to wear some of the fall pieces in my closet like this camel colored sweater from last season. Camel or tan is such a great color for fall because it goes with everything. It looks great with bold colors like red or with other neutrals.
I decided to go the all neutral route with this outfit. I paired the camel sweater with an espresso brown faux leather skirt and white booties. My accessories also tie into the shades of brown and white accents. This ruffle leather skirt could probably be worn during warmer weather but there’s just something about leather skirts that reminds me of fall. When the weather gets even cooler just add some tights or knee high boots! I was inspired by this designer ruffle skirt but I found this one for $42. Score!
I’ve also been searching high and low for the perfect pair of white leather booties. I originally wanted to go with this block heel pair but the heel was just too high for me. But the wood heel is amazing! I realized that a kitten heel was probably more my style. Plus I love the pointed toe of this pair.
I finished the look with this Clare V. clutch and a pair of retro, white earrings. I feel like the accessories really tie the whole outfit together by bringing in more of the white so the booties don’t stand out quite so much.

Now onto Flashback Fashion Fridays! Here’s a look from last November. (What?! It’s November already?) I really love this look and can’t wait to wear this olive jacket again! (Here’s a similar one that’s still available)
